What is HIES?
- HIES (The Home Insulation and Energy Systems Contractors Scheme) is a consumer protection organisation
- It ensures consumers are protected when using HIES Accredited Members
- All consumers receive, free of charge: deposit protection insurance, and insurance backed guarantee and free dispute resolution in case any problems occur
- HIES Members are some of the highest quality installers in the UK
- The scheme's ambassadors are Nick Ross (ex BBC Watchdog and Crimewatch presenter) and George Clarke (Channel 4’s The Restoration Man)
