This month, Green Energy Electrical installed over 100KW of solar PV.

Installed over four different commercial sites, Green Energy Electrical took care of everything from the pre-installation DNO application with the power networks, to supplying and installing the materials. We even assisted the customers with their Feed-in Tariff (FIT) applications.

Commercial properties are great for solar panels, as there are often big roof spaces, allowing you to fit a larger amount of panels. This gives you a greater total installed capacity and because there tends to be a lot of energy use during the working day when the solar panels are generating, it means you will not pull as much electricity from the grid. This means a reduction in your energy bills.

You will also be able to apply for the Government Feed-in Tariff (FIT), which means that you will receive payments based on how much solar energy you generate, and get money back for the excess solar energy that is exported back to the grid. Solar panels are also brilliant for the environment and will lower your carbon footprint.
